Level Measuring Instruments

A totally new, reliable and accurate system for liquid level measurement in tall and overhead tanks. Highly efficient and rugged in construction, this instrument is very suitable for large storage tanks for Water, Fire Water, DM Water, Oil, LSHS, Diesel, Lube Oil, Vegetable Oils, Molasses, Silicates, Glucose, All Non-Hazard, Non- Pressurised tanks. As the liquid rises in the tank, the large float also goes up, in turn moving the pointer on the graduated scale. The float is connected to the pointer with the wire rope which glides over almost frictionless nylon rollers, thereby ensuring trouble free operation.

Simple principle of mechanics and magnetism harnessed to offer an absolutely safe, reliable and trustworthy level indicator for dangerous and toxic liquids under high pressure and temperature.

As the liquid level rises in the tank, the float is lifted up due to buoyancy. The float carries a stem attached to it and on the other side of the stem a magnet is fixed. The float stem moves inside an SS enclosure. External to this enclosure is a glass tube, which carries the magnetic follower (Red in Colour). Due to magnetic attraction, the magnet on the float stem and the magnetic follower are coupled and move in union. As the float moves along with the liquid, the follower also moves inside the glass tube, and the position of the follower can be read against the scale.

The meter consists of ultrasonicsensor to the surface of measured medium.Part of reflected ultrasonic pulses are received by the transducer and converted into output electronice signal.The relationship among distance S, sound speed C and transmission timeT is S=CxT/2.

Capacitance Level Indicator, Switch And Transmitter is ideally suitable for level measurement and control of liquids and some slurries of homogenous composition having a stable dielectric constant. The performance of these instruments is not affected by the properties of the liquid such as conductivity, corrosiveness and viscosity.

Float mounted at one end of rigid rod moves with change in level, magnetic capsule at other end of rod moves accordingly within fixed limits Switch contacts across the face change accordingly. As the tank fills up the float lifts up due to buoyancy. The other end of the float which is magnetic in nature goes down and during its downward motion, triggers the switch assembly and the contacts get closed, which can be used to operate an alarm or any other audio/visual load.

A Top Mounted Magnetic Level switch is normally a simple device that monitors the liquid level in a tank and sends a trip signal to another device such as a Pump to protect it. These Level switches are used for Pump protection, Cooling Circuit protection, high & low level alarm and general level monitoring.
